14 year old Israeli girl The New Face of Dior
Sofia Mechetner, the blonde blue eyed Israeli girl has become the new face of Dior even if she had absolutely no modelling experience.
She introduced the Dior Haute Couture FW2015 at Paris Fashion Week, on a $265.000 contract.
Her story is same like Cinderella. The talent scout Israel's Roberto Management Agency sent her to a casting in Paris for Viva Modelling Agency. But when the agency found out that she has no modelling experience and she is only 14, they cancelled the shoot.
As she stopped in a Dior shop where head designer Raf Simons happened to be there, she cought his eye and told the company's casting director about her. Needless to say, several weeks later, Sofia got the news that she got the Dior gig.
Now she is on the road to fame , same as Kate Moss, the British model, who she was discovered same at 14 years of age.
