There is a fantastic saying that John Ruskin, a great British artist, art critic and writer said; “Life without labour is stealing. Life without art is barbarity.” So, I consider that as my motto now.

I started my first art-school at the age of 3 and I'm still doing it now at age 22. Fashion, photography, design and art is my life because I am passionate about it.

When I was younger, I focused more on classic art, drawing, painting, sculpturing and so on. And then my “fashionista” career started very early too as my mum is a fashion designer. She started a “fashion theatre” before I was born and then stopped doing it when I was 10. I consider it to be the main reason for my fashion-passion. As for my dad, he works in advertising, photography, video and he is also a musician.

During the last 6 years I have diligently tried to make a career for myself. I studied at Moscow State University of Design and Technology, and Central Saint Martins (London). During this time studying, I was also creating at Bespoken-Tailoring Wedding atelier business and getting involved in creative projects as a designer, stylist, and photographer.

I try my best to do as much as I can now and sincerely worship and love doing it because I'm young and eager about this industry. I have learnt from my experiences and studying in Russia and London as they have very different education systems and it's good to get a feel for both.

The main part of my life is occupied by fashion. And I suppose this kind of “art” is the most composite and congenial for me. I work with fabrics, various types of materials, make dramatic shapes and try to construct an ideal dress.

However fashion is not just about dresses. It is also about the glamour and the enjoyment of photoshoots, competitions, and fashion shows. My first show was 6 years ago and during the first 4 years I had a fantastic “competition-show” experience. I found it quite challenging but I was still very curious time at the same time.

System and structure of every competition is different, and it`s very intriguing to be a part of all of them. However, your own fashion show and fashion week is another matter completely. You want everything to go perfectly as the way you imagined it in your head. I got to take part in Fashion Week in autumn 2012. (There are two fashion weeks in Russia – Russian Fashion Week and Moscow Fashion Week. And I had two fashion shows at the same season) One of them was my own, and the second one – as a part of competition (Tochka RU is a competition for young designers, which was created by MSU DT. And a final gala-show that is part of Moscow Fashion Week).

I got a grand-prix of this competition – very fortunate day of my life. So, today I try to do a fashion show every season.

It is extremely hard to create a new collection every season and make clothes for clients. But inspiration is what I seek. If I see anything that inspires me, whether it be an object, or person, I will take pictures on my phone so I do not forget. And then later I can build on these ideas and make them better and more creative.

I find it hard writing about myself. My work says a lot more about me than words could ever explain.
