Maksuda Akhter
Maksuda started modelling at the age of 13 and is still very passionate about it all.
She is Ms Ireland 2014 and was also awarded Ms Photogenic 2014 and Super Model 2014, and also has the title of Miss Hot Chocolate 2014 and has previously been Miss University Royal 2013.
Maksuda has appeared on many magazine covers and TV shows in her homeland of Bangladesh and is had also made several appearances in Irish media.
Apart from the beauty side of life Maksuda holds a private pilot license and is in training to become a commercial pilot , she has also completed the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and has a higher diploma in Organisation Development and a bachelors in Business Management and has previously been working with a stock broking firm.
Maksuda enjoys charity and fund raising work and tries to get involved whenever the opportunity arises.
This shoot was thought up as an idea not long before it happened and both the Photographer (Taz Photos) and Maksuda came up with the unusual idea as a shoot theme that neither had done before and both wanted to try. Some research was done into finding out the safest way to get white water and it turned out that a combination of real and powdered milk was a safe way to get it to the colour required and adding a few rose petals to the bath created the first image (and a few more on Maksuda's page) just the way we wanted it.
The second image was a straight forward studio shoot and also turned out very well.
Makeup for the shoot was done by "The Makeup Guru" ( Nadia Monalisa ) for the shoot and all three investments of makeup , model and photographer combined to create some fantastic final images.
