The young stylist and the Belgian creator of jewels Louise Kopij reveals her new summer collection for women and, novelty this year, a collection for child.

Lover of the natural materials and the unique pieces, Louise Kopij gives free rein to her inspiration without complying with the diktats of the mass production. In her small workshop from Liège, Louise Kopij so joins in an approach of design slow dance. Her collections follow her desires for moment rather than the big fashion trends. Every jewel Louise Kopij is completely realized by hand, in Belgium, in the respect for the craft traditions of the jewelry, from long-lasting and superior-quality materials.

All the elements are besides biodegradable, including the packagings and the paper catalogs. Faithful to the asymmetries and to her materials of preference (as the not coloured natural feathers, the vintage clock machineries, the brass and the semiprecious stones), the creator widens her range of materials and colors.

For the child collection, the developed paterns this season are the star and the moon.

Louise wished to create a real case everything around the jewel, and by telling it the short history inspired by every stony type (and thus different according to the pieces of the collection).

Stones used for this collection spring / summer (children and woman) have been chosen carefully by Louise.

To note that every jewel is completely created in the hand in Louise's workshop and that this one works with some silver and some gold gold-filled (14 carats).

LOUISE KOPIJ

Since her small workshop from Liège, the young stylist Louise Kopij creates jewels from precious and natural substances. Her route in the world of the fashion allowed her to acquire a big sensibility in the beautiful things. Her crédo: the search for the harmony above all.

ALWAYS IN OPPOSITE

Livened up from the childhood by a need to create objects, Louise makes her first clothes at the age of 13. She will attend nevertheless the class of sociology at the University of Liège, " to please her parents". But finally her choice will concern to the Brussels High School of Styling Francisco Ferrer. It will become aware of her creativity there. In 2008, stimulated in her creative moose, Louise does a training course in leather store at the School of the Arts and crafts of Brussels.

Louise Kopij participates then as artist in some exhibitions of visual art. Louise diversifies then her work, explores new techniques and exceeds her limits.

JEWELS, A BOLD STROKE!

Having explored the jobs by the arts, by the show and by the fashion, the creation of jewels becomes a concrete objective for the young woman. She can give free rein to her creativity there by proposing finally unique pieces in affordable prices.

RETURN IN LIEGE

It is with this new energy that Louise Kopij began, in 2010, a training with the Studios of Contemporary Art of Liège. In August, 2011, Louise entered incubator of company via Job in and could finally take on the dress of independent creator possessing her own line and her distribution network.

NEXT STAGES

Louise is ambitious and she would like she could eventually commit of the staff and she would train it in the production. In a parallel to the creation of jewels, Louise makes besides headgears and fineries for the scene (in particular for neo-comic artists), fashion shows and shootings photo. In 2014, the creations Louise Kopij are for sale in about twenty stores almost everywhere in Walonie and in Brussels and even in New York, , and from now on on its louisekopij-shop.com online shop.

For the child Autumn / winter 2015 collection, Little big princess will be surrounded with kind monsters for a part(party) of the illustration.

The line woman will present as for her the theme of the transformation(processing) and the alchemical symbols.
