Peter De Boos
A (near) Brussels based free lance photographer, focused on model photography ranging from fashion over fine art and nudes to body paint. Peter is Co-owner of a Brussels based Communications Agency and regularly uses his photography for his client’s brochures, packaging or websites. Over the last few years, Peter developed his love for Portraits and always tries to include headshots and close-ups during a shoot. Thanks to the quite substantial African community in Brussels, he developed a broad network of models and specialized make up artists to shoot Dark Skin Beauties in fashion and fine art settings. Inspired by Canadian photographer Steve Richard he installed a water basin to be able to make fashion shots from above the water, towards the submerged model. Other photographers who inspire Peter are Marc Lagrange, Kessler Tran or Marcus Hyde. A long time shooter on analog Nikon, it was a logic upgrade from de Nikon D80 to the Nikon D800e to use as the workhorse for all shoots. The controlled environment of the studio is his preferred habitat for fashion, but he knows to appreciate special surroundings and settings when they are available. Last but not least, the importance of a pro team of model, wardrobe, make up, and styling cannot be emphasized enough!
