Lacey Walker
I was born and raised just outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. I see myself as very lucky to have grown up in the mountains rather than the city. I love the scenery, it's just so beautiful.
Growing up, I have always been interested in fashion. I remember wanting to be a fashion designer when I was about 10 years old. My major inspirations have always been models!
When I was a freshman in high school I decided to go into acting and actually had an agent. She would sometimes send me on modelling casting calls and I ended up enjoying those far more than the acting auditions I was sent to. I have always been very driven and took many acting classes to get much better at my current dream. I was able to be in two movies as an extra! This really helped me in the long run, especially now as a model.
Modelling became my dream soon after I stopped acting, but I never seriously pursued it until about 5 months ago. I have been so lucky to accomplish everything that I have in such a short amount of time. I got my first cover within my first month of modelling, shot my first editorial within 2 months, and I have been published multiple times in magazines as well. I have walked in fashion shows and shot look books for local designers. I have been so blessed to meet everyone in this industry. They have made me who I am and better as a model overall.
Someday I plan to be agency represented in Los Angeles, where the market for this industry seems to be. This is my dream and I believe I am just determined enough to make it a reality.
